The unusual feature in all Lucy the Cat books is a series of picture-strip cartoons. The strip at each page's top tells Lucy's story with words and dialogue balloons in Spanish. The same pictures run across the bottom of the page with words in English. The pictures are in color, the stories are amusing, and almost before kids know it, they're learning a second language.
