Sidney Young (Simon Pegg) is a disillusioned intellectual who both adores and despises the world of celebrity, fame and glamour. He works at Post Modern Review, where he goes against the grain and pokes fun at the media obsessed stars. So, when Young is offered a job at prestigious New York based Sharps magazine, he thinks surely fame, success & beautiful women will follow.Pegg's character tries his version of "fitting in" with hilarious consequences!
